I haven't done a giveaway in a while so I figured I would today! I am giving away one of my favorite children's books on the liturgical year - Through the Year With Tomie de Paola.
Tomi de Paola is one of my favorite Christian children's authors and illustrators. Ignatius Press came out with a book using all his illustrations to walk the reader through the Liturgical Year and I LOVE it!
This lovely book brings together the best of Tomie dePaola's Art Mail—the charming illustrations of feast days and holidays he sent to family and friends. Each piece is accompanied by short passages about the saint or the occasion it represents. Various liturgical customs practiced throughout the world are also described.
This engaging book is sure to inspire the whole family to celebrate with the Church her special days and seasons throughout the year.
